AX 2550 + T 74 motors 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I am trying to control four NPC T74 Motors with a single AX2550
I was able to wire it up according to the Roboteq schematic with a 100 amp circuit breaker, a switch, an emergency shut off, a diode, specified by a roboteq tech, and control it with a basic RC Receiver and radio. It works fine even with a 250 lbs payload going up hill. However, when I ran the robot into a truck tire by accident, it stopped working . I am guessing when the motor could not turn, it shut the Controller down. I would expect the circuit breaker to trip but it did not.
Now I can't get the controller to reset or read using Roborun. Any advice?

I am thinking it may be better to use two AX 3100S' to control two motors each.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Has anyone done this?
is there any info on how to wire up two controllers for tank steering?
Thanks in advance.

Can the AX3100S be modified to control 2 channels?
Anyone?

The dual channel version of the AX3100S is the AX3500. However, it is rated at half the current of the ax2550. So the AX2550 is your best choice.

Ok I agree the AX 2550 is a better route. I just noticed something.
Are you saying that the yellow power control wire on this controllers has to be either connected to ground or +12V
What happens if it isn't connected to +12 V
I have been just sending the yellow wire to ground to turn off the controller
Could this be the source of my issue?
