This sounds like an interesting potential feature.

I assume that you want TCP over ethernet and not TCP over RS232.

Conceptually, we could have a module that fits on the controller's main board with an MCU &amp; ethernet connectivity. This would not be a trivial development, however. Furthermore, the module would take the place of the optional Optical Encoder, which many people would not want to lose.
